Dr. Patrick Rowe has accepted the position of Medical Lead, NH ER and Trauma Services Program, effective May 1, 2017. Dr. Rowe will work collaboratively with the Executive Lead, Emergency and Trauma Services, Ms. Jordan Oliver, in a co-leadership model.
As medical lead, Dr. Rowe works in collaboration with the Executive Lead, Emergency and Trauma Services, other physician leaders, and professional staff to provide leadership and support for the alignment of the ER and Trauma Services Program and Northern Health services. Dr. Rowe will be responsible for the change management necessary to improve the quality of emergency and trauma services in the north.
Dr. Rowe is an emergency physician at the University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) and is currently the Department Head of Emergency Medicine. He graduated with a BSC in medical sciences and a medical degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
