Background: The provider for the Prothrombin Time (PT) reagent has announced that they will discontinue the production of the current PT reagent; they have presented an alternative reagent. With this new PT reagent implementation, NH has validated the new PT/INR Reference Intervals.
New Information: The following Reference Intervals have been updated:
- International Normalized Ratio from 0.9 - 1.2 to 0.9 - 1.1
- Prothrombin Time from 11.9 - 13.8 seconds to 11.8 - 14.8 seconds
