Included in the update:
- Provincial BC P&T biosimilar insulin decision (applies to health authority settings only)
- Official implementation of adult therapeutic interchange for rapid-acting insulin (see poster for details)
- Notes:
- Go-live for this interchange will be November 30
- Insulin order sets have been revised for this TIP and will be uploaded for go-live (old versions will need to be removed from circulation)
- TIP does not apply to pediatrics at this time
- Notes:
- Amendment to formulary restriction criteria for linagliptin
- Amendment to saxagliptin-metformin and sitagliptin-metformin TIP
