In June 2017, Northern Health released the Regional Adult Heart Failure Order Set that can be used in all tertiary care settings across Northern Health.
The order set will allow physicians to provide care that reflects best practice guidelines for inpatients diagnosed with heart failure. The order set provides options for specialist referral and includes an automatic referral for education provided by heart failure nurses.
