Calling all physicians! Are you interested in volunteering for a national community event, supporting young athletes, and taking in some great hockey? The 2017 Telus Cup is looking for physicians to provide medical support to players in the event of any incidents.
Safety of the players is very important and taken very seriously. They are currently seeking a physician to be at each game. You will be supported by a dedicated BC Ambulance with two trained personal. The physician, dedicated BC Ambulance, and staff will be for the players only.
Volunteers are needed at these times:
• Monday April 24th - 12:00pm
• Monday April 24th - 4:00pm
• Wednesday April 26th - 12:00pm
• Wednesday April 26th - 4:00pm
• Thursday April 27th - 12:00pm
• Thursday April 27th - 4:00pm
• Friday April 28th - 10:00am
• Friday April 28th - 2:00pm
• Friday April 28th - 6:00pm
• Saturday April 29th - 11:30am
• Saturday April 29th - 3:30pm
It is anticipated that physicians will be required to be at the arena for the warm up as well as the games. There are no practices for this event.
