Starting January 1, 2025, the University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) will launch the Primary Care Inpatient Service (PCIS) to provide care for unassigned, unattached, and out-of-town patients. This service aims to ensure continuity of care, balanced workloads, and physician well-being.
