The issue: Baxter has issued a voluntary, precautionary recall for several of their pre-mixed drug products and IV fluids. This recall is due to a potential for the bags to leak at the connection site during spiking or dislodgement of the tube membrane when removing the spike. Affected products were put on the market from January 11 to July 12, 2023.
