The issue: EPINEPHrine 1 mg/10 mL pre-filled syringes (PFS) remain in short supply from the sole source vendor in Canada (Pfizer) with estimated resupply date of mid-late April 2022. As a measure to ensure adequate supply remains available, Health Canada has authorized Pfizer to apply a 6-month expiry date extension to six product lots with short expiry dating.
