The Issue: Due to an increase in demand for salbutamol multi-dose inhalers (MDI) in Canada secondary to the COVID-19 pandemic, Teva Canada has been authorized by Health Canada to import an extra supply of UK-labelled product. NH will be ordering this product for use in hospitals as needed.
Clinical Use: Salbutamol is a bronchodilator used for various acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
