Expressions of Interest is requested from the Regional Child and Youth Specialized Services (CYMHSU) team for roles to work with an interdisciplinary team on the Adolescent Psychiatric Assessment Unit (APAU) within a shared care model with virtual psychiatry and general support. These are exciting opportunities for mentoring and growth in a specialty area, contributing on an interdisciplinary team, and working in clinical areas of interest.
APAU is a 6-bed inpatient unit for children and youth ages 12 – 18 years located at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC). This is a regional service that supports both stabilization and assessment care for children and youth.

These exciting opportunities are unique as we are in the process of completing a program redesign to improve service delivery. These roles are key partners in the APAU program; therefore, they will have considerable opportunities for engagement and co-design during this process.
