Northern Health’s Antimicrobial Stewardship Program has prepared a quarter 2 report for this fiscal year. A highlight report has been prepared; it gives an overview of the ongoing projects and drug therapy problems related to antimicrobials identified across the health authority. Unlike the first quarter report, there is no update on antimicrobial utilization at this time; due to recent discovery of data collection discrepancies, analysis and reporting on antimicrobial usage and costs are on hold. We hope to have this rectified for a 3rd quarter update. Quarter 3 data is being analyzed currently and will be posted in the near future.
