Health care provider shifts available at Urgent and Primary Care Centre - Prince George

Northern Health recognizes the Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) provides an important resource for patients who do not have a primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) and patients needing after-hours care. Northern Health is committed to maintaining services at the Prince George UPCC, which will continue operations under a new service model, starting on December 8, 2024.

Providers will be offered a contract with Northern Health. Hours will be submitted through Byte Bloc and paid monthly.
Northern Health standards include paperless charting, and we are working to get the necessary technology onsite. All providers need to complete a 30-minute virtual training session that is compensated. Sign up by email susan.schienbein@northernhealth.ca.
Scheduling of shifts for both appointments based (DTU) and urgent care will be done through Byte Bloc. Shifts are available now and can be accessed through Byte Bloc.
