Northern Health invites eligible medical staff to express their interest in the position of Deputy Medical Director, Northeast (0.5 FTE). The initial focus of this role will be on the South Peace, including Northern Health facilities and medical staff within that area.
The Deputy Medical Director works collaboratively with the Medical Director(s) for the Northeast region and the Northeast Senior Operating Officer. The role also involves close collaboration with Chiefs of Staff, Medical Staff Leads, and operational leaders across acute, community, and primary care settings, with particular attention to the South Peace communities.

The Deputy Medical Director provides medical leadership in support of high-quality, sustainable health services across the Northeast. This role contributes to regional and organizational priorities while supporting medical staff leadership, operational planning, and physician engagement, initially with a dedicated emphasis on the South Peace.
