• Define "fever" in Pediatrics
• Review the implications of a fever in different age groups and how this has changed over time
• Justify different levels of investigations for different age groups in response to a fever
• Empower physicians to make evidence based decisions regarding interventions for different age groups in response to fever
• Draw on different strategies to start peripheral intravenous lines in rural and remote locations
