Implement the management algorithm of IDA to achieve optimal patient outcomes.  Identify the main clinical indications for currently available IV iron therapies and recognize their differences through evidence-based research.  COVID-19 Therapeutics Update  Explain the COVID-19 landscape and disease burden in Canada.  Explain the mechanism of action, efficacy, and safety of outpatient therapies. Apply national and provincial guidelines for the treatment of COVID-19 outpatients. Identify patients eligible for outpatient therapies based on risk stratification. Describe the role of primary care in the treatment of COVID-19 outpatients Icosapent Ethyl in Cardiovascular Disease: Knowledge Translation of the New Dyslipidemia Guidelines Recognize that persistent CV risk (PCVR) remains in statin treated patients. Identify elevated triglycerides as a marker of persistent CV risk. Review the evidence for CV event reduction in statin-treated patients with elevated triglycerides. Describe a recent non-statin therapy for CV event reduction in statin-treated patients with elevated TGs. Apply novel cardiovascular risk management therapies to statin-treated patients with PCVR.
