• Recognize that persistent CV risk (PCVR) remains in statin treated patients.
• Identify elevated triglycerides as a marker of persistent CV risk.
• Review the evidence for CV event reduction in statin-treated patients with elevated triglycerides.
• Describe a recent non-statin therapy for CV event reduction in statin-treated patients with elevated TGs.
• Apply novel cardiovascular risk management therapies to statin-treated patients with PCVR.
