Please join us in person for The Care Course goes WILDE in Pemberton, BC, a pre-conference option for the BC Rural Health Conference 2024.
The CARE Course Goes WILDE will bring 24 experienced rural physicians, nurses and pre-hospital care providers together to live and learn for three fun-filled days.
The course is entirely practical. Participants will rotate through 36 hands-on learning stations equally divided between skill stations and high-fidelity scenarios, that reflect and integrate the realities of providing care in rural healthcare facilities and remote settings. At this course, participants will camp (glamp!) for three nights on a property just outside of Pemberton, 40 minutes north of Whistler. Participants will be provided with healthy, wholesome catered food and only need to provide their own outdoor gear, tent and sleeping bag.
