Speaker: Harlan Campbell, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Department of Statistics, University of British Columbia. Learning objectives: Review the main reasons why estimating the infection fatality rate (IFR) is so challenging. Discuss how Bayesian models can help address these challenges. Consider a Bayesian model developed for estimating the IFR and it’s association with different variables of interest. How to join: Registration required https://ubc.zoom.us/meeting/register/u50vce-srz8uGdFRyHc8g_K9VYEMgCMsRC9g after registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing the zoom information to join.  Disclaimer: The CME Event Calendar contains information originating from other sources.
