This Rural Rounds session will include information on how the new frostbite protocol first introduced in 2015 has dramatically reduced amputation rates and enhances recovery, as well as best practices for ensuring that patients in remote and rural areas have access to high-quality frostbite care. Rural Rounds presentations are tailored specifically for the unique practice context of rural healthcare providers. Sessions feature relevant topics, exemplative case studies and an opportunity to connect with fellow rural providers.
