At the Therapeutics Initiative, we want to create a platform for health care providers, patients, caregivers, advocates and policy makers to learn from each other about successes and challenges in deprescribing. Learning together, we hope to build confidence and knowledge about deprescribing in BC and beyond.
Two cases will be featured in this inaugural deprescribing webinar: One case presented by Dr. Jill Norris, family physician in Victoria, BC with an interest in "slow medicine" together with Dr. Alison Gregson, psychiatrist at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, BC; and a second case presented by Cameron Bonell, clinical pharmacist in the central Okanagan for 30 years.
Speakers:
Dr. Jill Norris
Dr. Alison Gregson
Cameron Bonell, Clinical pharmacist
Learning objectives:
Recognize when a medication list is not appropriate for a patient’s long-term health
