His academic and clinical focus is on emerging infections and clinical care, and he is the principal investigator of a number of randomized clinical trials evaluating therapies for patients with COVID19. He is an active consultant with the Public Health Agency of Canada and the World Health Organization, and is a frequent contributor to national media in Canada and internationally on COVID19 related subjects. Cost: FREE (Everyone must register in order to attend and will receive confirmation of registration by email and the link to join the webinar. Connection details: The webinar will be conducted using Zoom. A meeting link will be sent out closer to the presentation date. Please note: The webinar will begin promptly at the scheduled time. To attend you will have to use a computer, tablet or smartphone connected to the internet or dial. If using a computer, we recommend the use of the Chrome browser or the Zoom app that can be obtained for free from the app store. Upon entering the webinar you will be muted and your webcam (if available) will be turned off; only the host and the presenter will be heard and seen; the presenter will also share their screen to show their slide presentation. To ensure the smooth running of the event, please do not turn on your microphone or webcam unless invited to do so by the host during the Q & A portion of the event. Questions can be submitted through the chat window at any time during the webinar; the host will screen the questions and ask the presenter to answer them during the Q & A portion of the event. Time permitting, after all the questions submitted through the chat window have been addressed, participants may also be allowed to turn on their microphone and ask questions during the Q & A portion of the event. This webinar will be recorded and all participants will be given access to the video recording, which will be posted after the event. CME credits: MainPro+/MOC Section 1 credits: 1.0. You must register, attend the webinar and complete the evaluation in order to receive your certificate.
