Understand COVID-19-related changes and school transitions. Assess for school anxiety/avoidance effectively in order to optimise management. Advise families on routine setting prior to return to school. Understand the three-pronged approach: individual supports for children and youth, parental behavioural strategies, and school consultation. Support families to set achievable goals as they navigate the transition back to school.
