The national shortage of Sodium Chloride 0.9% (NS) and Sterile Water for Injection (SWFI) 10mL vials/polyampules is now resolved.
General Stores will resume the distribution of NS and SWFU 10mL vials/polyampules to patient care areas over the next week.

Abci ximab 2mg/mL injection has been discontinued by Janssen, the sole source producer with no other vendors available on the market. Northern Health has not routinely stocked or used Abci ximab injection: however, all staff should be aware this product is no longer available.
