Category 1 Sixth-Month Program
The UBC Enhanced Skills Obstetrical Surgical Skills Program is offering a 6-month training opportunity within the Jul 1, 2023 - Jun 30, 2024 academic year. This is an established, accredited Category 1 program based at Surrey Memorial Hospital. The program is designed to meet the needs of a family physician practicing low to medium risk obstetrics in a setting where they will be on call for operative deliveries and management of obstetrical complications. On successful completion, the resident will be eligible for a Certificate of Added Competence in OSS.
Successful applicants will either hold their CCFP or be eligible to attain it within the year of Enhanced Skills training. This is a PGY3 Position with corresponding salary, benefits and expectations in terms of call/service provision.
