Add to my calendar2022-10-25 18:30:002022-12-13 21:00:008 Week mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program for health care providers
Mindfulness is a way of paying wise attention to whatever is happening in our minds, bodies and relationships with compassionate curiosity. In contrast, especially during multiple interconnected crises, we often become “mindless”— living in past conditioned biases or future anxieties, compelled by reactivity and unaware of the interdependency of our systems. Through practicing mindfulness, we may restore a sense of vitality and agency to act in our collective best interest. We mobilize foundational capacities for inhabiting complexity, together.
This evidence-based course schedule consists of 8 weekly 2.5 hour classes and one day-long class on a Saturday. The weekly class will begin Tues, Oct 25th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm and run every Tuesday evening for 8 weeks. The all-day class is on Saturday, Dec 3rd, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
