At the end of this program, participants should be able to identify:
Pertinent history and appropriate physical/laboratory/imaging exams to diagnose ankylosing spondyloarthritis and axial spondyloarthropathies more quickly and more accurately.
When to refer a patient to a rheumatology colleague, and what information to include in a referral.
Key components of relevant Canadian and international treatment algorithms.
Your role in the ongoing management of AS & axial SpA patients, particularly regarding vaccinations, pregnancy planning, infection management and perioperative management of drug therapy.
