Provide an overview of iron deficiency anemia and the impacts on the quality of life of surgical patients
Understand the different treatment options for IDA including oral and IV iron
Understand the pharmacoeconomic and treatment cost implications of IV iron
Review the current implementation of a treatment algorithm for pre-operative anemia in elective surgery
