The National Abortion Federation (NAF) Canada has launched an online training course to help primary care providers offer medication abortion to their patients. A special edition of this course is now available for family physicians across Canada. We invite you to share information about the course with colleagues and members of the Rural Coordination Centre of BC's. NAF Canada’s online training course on medication abortion is designed specifically for primary care providers. Training is delivered through 6 self-paced and 1 live session (complete all 6 modules between April 6-20, 2022). Topics covered include medication abortion protocols, patient-centered counselling, and how to offer medication abortion in family medicine settings.
