• Jason Rupke, Generalist Social Worker, Haida Child and Family Services Society

Learning objectives:

• Refer clients to specific services under the HCFSS umbrella
• Describe the child protection response on Haida Gwaii, and know what to expect after a report is made
• Define their Duty to Report, and how to go about doing that
• Review the "Delegated Model" for child welfare, and how responsibilities are split between MCFD and HCFSS
