Review Extended Leave process. Interpret and apply provisions of the Mental Health Act.Review and distinguish the jurisdictions of the Mental Health Review Board panels and the College of Physicians and Surgeons/Health Professions Review Board, and the roles of the new Patients Rights Advisory Service. Anticipate the direction recent and upcoming court cases may take the interpretation of the MHA, possibly followed by legislative amendments.
