Co-leadership between physicians and administrative leaders is an important enabling factor in achieving Northern Health’s mission of providing exceptional health services for Northerners. Northern Health has been working to advance co-leadership between physician and administrative leaders over the past several years. This education series is meant for dyads to do with their local teams, applying new skills and tools to a quality improvement project at your site and learning virtually with your colleagues across the region. Your team will have the support of a physician quality improvement coach to support your learning and project work.
The learning series is comprised of eight, 1.5 hour virtual learning sessions held on Thursday afternoons from 12:30 pm - 14:00 pm starting September 16, 2021.
Learning objectives:
Learn intermediate level improvement skills and tools
Break down your idea
Develop a change theory
Discuss the system
Review data tools to measure change
Build and lead a team
Implement your ideas to make improvements
