Overview: Stop-The-Bleed® is a practical training course designed to teach the public how to use simple measures to control life-threatening bleeding in the setting of serious injury; designed to enable bystanders to intervene effectively as first responders when someone has suffered injury with serious external bleeding.
The focus of this program is on:
The immediate response to bleeding
Recognize life-threatening bleeding
Appropriate ways to stop the bleeding
Date: May 23, 2019
Time: 1 pm - 2 pm or 2:15 pm – 3:15 pm
Where: University Hospital of Northern BC, Learning Development Centre Atrium (by the main hospital entrance)
