This year’s theme is “When Organs and Spirits Falter: Palliative Care beyond Cancer”, focusing on practical approaches to non-cancer diagnoses, which are especially challenging to manage in a world where data and practice patterns remain focused on cancer patients. This includes not only cardiac and neurological disease, but also existential and spiritual distress.
