UBC UGEMP: Ultrasound-guided emergency medicine procedures

Join us for highly immersive simulations using live human models under the guidance of experienced faculty. This hands-on course provides an opportunity to acquire and maintain the skills required to perform various procedures using ultrasound-guidance.

• Peripheral intravenous line placement
• Pericardiocentesis
• Abscess drainage
• Subcutaneous foreign body localization & removal

• Paracentesis
