The Northern Perinatal Mental Health and Substance Use working group has received funding from the Provincial Perinatal Substance Use Project to support education for health care providers across Northern Health.

The Issue: Calcium carbonate (Tums®) 500 mg chew tablets (mint flavour) are on backorder. NH has approximately four to five weeks of supply remaining.
Resolution: The shortage of diclofenac 50 mg rectal suppositories has resolved and NH pharmacy now has access to an adequate ongoing supply.
