All strengths of nifedipine SR tablets (20mg, 30mg, and 60mg) are on shortage from all Canadian manufacturers. Nifedipine 30mg SR tablets are routinely stocked in NH and formulary restricted for obstetric indications only. NH also has some remaining supply of the 20 mg SR tablets.

The LifeShield™ lidocaine 2% (20 mg/mL) X 5 mL pre-filled syringe (PFS) products from Pfizer® are on backorder with an expected resupply date of late October 2019. An alternate needle-less product is available which will be temporarily brought in for use in crash kits.
