NH DMO –  Cerner upgrading to version 2023.2 on Sept 12, 2023

There are a number of improvements and fixes, some of which are highlighted below:

Release notes summary:

Background: It was brought to our attention that the kits used to perform MONONUCLEOSIS testing are backordered with the expected recovery by middle of September. Northern Health Stores Department is out of stock at this moment.

Through its Energy Conservation Assistance Program (ECAP), BC Hydro offers portable air conditioners at no charge in order to support vulnerable customers. Individuals living in an income-qualified households may be eligible to receive these cooling devices.

The issue: Baxter has issued a voluntary, precautionary recall for several of their pre-mixed drug products and IV fluids. This recall is due to a potential for the bags to leak at the connection site during spiking or dislodgement of the tube membrane when removing the spike.
