Calcitriol 1 mcg/mL injection remains on back order from the sole vendor in Canada. NH has a remaining supply of approximately 1 week based on historical use and will likely stock out before more supply is available.

Cyclopentolate 1% minims are on backorder from the single source vendor. Supply is already limited in NH and there is a risk of stocking out before more product becomes available. The cyclopentolate 1% eye drops X 15 mL bottle remain available at this time.

The BC Surgical Patient Registry (SPR) is a provincial system that collects information about patients waiting for and receiving surgery in British Columbia.

Providence Health Care is taking many steps to reduce patient volumes for the CST electronic health record project go-live on November 16, 2019 at 0600 hours at St. Paul’s Hospital (SPH), Mount Saint Joseph Hospital (MSJ) and Holy Family Hospital (HFH).

Nystatin 100,000 units/g ointment (30g tubes) and cream (15g and 30g tubes) are on backorder. The ointment is anticipated to be on a long term backorder with an undetermined resupply date. The cream tubes may be available by mid December.

The Prostate Cancer Supportive Care (PCSC) Program is now available at BC Cancer- Prince George. This complimentary program is available for prostate cancer patients, their partners, and family members.
